Alpina D-DSNB: A Spacious and Efficient Private Airplane

This plane, named Alpina D-DSNB, is a remarkable example of innovative design in the realm of private aircraft. Designed by Hakan Gursu, it combines functionality, efficiency, and a spacious interior to create a unique flying experience. Inspired by the exterior style of Aquila airplanes, the Alpina D-DSNB aims to maximize interior space while maintaining a sleek and stylish design.

One of the standout features of the Alpina D-DSNB is its ability to land and take off in short distances, making it ideal for mountainous areas with varying altitudes. The half wings located under the main ones provide balanced gliding, while the supporting parts between the main and half wings ensure stability. These design elements contribute to the plane's exceptional performance and durability.

The Alpina D-DSNB is designed to accommodate four passengers comfortably. The interior is characterized by perforated seating units and a high-top glass cover, creating a sense of spaciousness and openness. The use of lightweight composite materials for the entire body further enhances the plane's efficiency and performance.

Operating the Alpina D-DSNB is a seamless experience. The front seatings can be accessed through the front canopy, while the back seatings are conveniently placed between the sliding back doors. The half wings also serve as stairs, allowing easy entry into the plane.

The Alpina D-DSNB was completed in 2018 in Ankara, Turkey. Throughout the design process, the team faced challenges in increasing the plane's performance and durability, while also ensuring a spacious and functional interior design that aligns with the brand identity. The result is a private airplane that combines style, efficiency, and comfort.

The Alpina D-DSNB has been recognized for its excellence in design, receiving the Iron A' Design Award in the Aerospace and Aircraft Design category in 2018. This prestigious award acknowledges the plane's well-designed, practical, and innovative features that meet professional and industrial requirements.
